Highlights are perfect for placing everything you consider relevant to your business, as well as capturing the attention of those who entered there for the first time.

What are highlights?

They are exactly fixed stories that remain indefinitely on the profile and users can view them whenever they want. Remember, stories are usually deleted within 24 hours of posting. This feature of HIGHLIGHTING information about our product or service is part of the marketing strategy that you are going to develop to grow your social network.

What's the best way to use Spotlights?

There is no hard and fast rule for creating them. Ideally, you want to know your audience and know what information might be relevant to them when they access your profile on the platform. However, if you have no idea what to highlight, here are some suggestions that can guide you when it comes to getting started with this feature:

The selection of #highlights to use will depend a lot on the product or service you offer and want to stand out.

Make your Instagram profile look cute and pleasing to the eye. Create them like this:

First of all, you need to create the covers of the highlights with icons that represent the content you want to highlight.

1. Add a Story, it's a created video or an animated design.

2. After you have selected the video to upload, add to the highlight "add to highlights" and place the name you will give to that content.

3. The story will appear on your account profile. But we're not done yet... Now comes the most important part! Customize the cover of that highlight. It's part of the branding you need to create for your feed.

4. Enter the story you just created from your profile picture. At the bottom right, click on the three dots. Then select Edit Highlight

5. Select the image icon so you can upload the highlight you're going to use. Once you've selected your highlight image, position it correctly and hit "done". And your highlight will be personalized with the cover of your choice.
